The Municipality of Prato, AMI Foundation and Vivaisti Italiani Association launch the kit to make everyone participate in the reduction of CO2 in a conscious way. 
The proceeds will finance the garden of the Pediatric Emergency Department of Santo Stefano.

Prato Urban Jungle gets into the heart of green initiatives and in May, through collaboration with Vivaisti Italiani Association and AMI Foundation, the project has created the kits of "Jungle in everyone’s house", to allow anyone who wants to make a green corner in their apartment, but also in the office or garden, discovering the beneficial properties of the plants thanks to information and dedicated videos and contributing concretely to the reduction of CO2 in the atmosphere.

The gardening kit is based on some essential elements: sustainability, circularity and value relationships on the territory. Each kit’s item invests in sustainability pathways, process innovation technologies and reducing environmental impact.

The KIT includes: 

• Stackable cardboard car mast box with features to support the weight with features to support the weight of the products and provided handling for the customer's transport; 
• 4 young plants produced from “talea” and cultivated in a special pot manufactured by molding, compressing, "cooking" of a slurry of vegetable fiber and cellulose, free of chemicals and totally biodegradable, which allows easy engraftment, harmonious and compact growth and no environmental problems related to the disposal of plastics;
• 10 liters of Agrobios Reter Use soil from a circular economy system that recovers and reuses the substrate of plants no longer viable; 
• 5 liters of organic fertilizer to be used during the plant engraftment phase 
• 1 liter of natural mulch to prevent weed growth, high water retention content, limits evaporation with high temperatures; 
• Guidance on the instructions for planting.

The proceeds of the donations of the kit will be used by the AMI Prato Foundation to finance the setting up of a garden dedicated to children and families who attend the pediatric emergency department of the New Hospital of Prato S. Stefano.

The KIT retreat can be done at the headquarters of the AMI Foundation at the Hospital S. Stefano di Prato in via Suor Niccolina Infermiera, 20 - 59100 Prato (PO), from Monday to Friday,  from 9 to 15.
