Are you a local school that wants to join the Prato Urban Jungle project?

There are various opportunities to take part in the activities of the Prato Urban Jungle project and become an active part of the green revolution that is developing in the city!

1) Apply for your school!

If you want to become one of the participating schools in the Prato Urban Jungle project, you can do it by presenting your forestation project and sending us photos to publish on our communication channels, gaining visibility and contributing to being more sustainable! Your application will be reviewed by the project team and we will give you feedback as soon as possible. Participation is free.

2) If you are a teacher (in particular of the 1st secondary cycle), use the "Green Generation (8.76 MB) with pdf extension" toolkit as a tool full of educational ideas, with insights for the teacher, activity proposals, suggestions and a website full of examples and best practices. To give an even more operational imprint, many ideas based on interesting experiences on project topics have been collected: some of them come from environmental education courses created by Legambiente, others from educational initiatives born inside the schools.
The kit is designed to support the teacher in carrying out educational activities dedicated to the themes of Urban Jungle. It aims to "inspire" and help the teacher in modulating the proposed activities, adapting the work to the class group, to the program, to the timetable requirements.

Furthermore, by downloading the greenApes APP (Download the APP) and participating in its "Challenges" (small thematic missions linked to the territory and conceived with project partners, such as Legambiente) you can collect "BankoNut" points which can be spent in the "Rewards" section of the app and where many local realities offer gifts and experiences; thus contributing to a more sustainable future for the city. You will also be able to receive discounts and free tickets made available for the project by theatres, museums and cinemas in Prato.
