PRATO FOREST CITY WEEK
The "Prato Forest City week" was held in Prato from 23 to 26 May 2023
Prato Urban Jungle aims to promote creative and visionary urban design to re-naturalize the neighbourhoods of Prato in a sustainable and socially inclusive way. To this end, urban jungles have been developed in four specific areas of the city as an innovative solution to address the problems of sustainable land use within the city. The "urban jungles" are areas with a high density of green, immersed in the urban structure, which multiply the natural ability of plants to reduce pollutants, restoring at the same time the unused soil and space for the use of the community, transforming marginal and decaying areas into active green hubs.

Team awards for classes, schools and associations
The educational project was proposed to Lippi, Fermi, Don Bosco, Sem Benelli, Tintori Secondary Schools and Santa Gonda Primary School.
All primary school children in Prato are invited to represent, with a drawing, their idea of the city of the future!
