Prato continues to redefine the relationship between built space and living nature with the new urban park destined for the Santo Stefano hospital.

The Ministry of Ecological Transition has financed a project of the Municipality of Prato that provides for the planting of 300 new trees and 2,000 shrubs in the main entrance of the hospital Santo Stefano. 
The intervention will not only contribute to the reduction of heat islands and the increase of biodiversity, but will also have an important perceptive impact on the context of the territory, transforming the landscape of this area of the city, characterized by the contrast between densely urbanized and cultivated areas with objective to provide a green zone suitable for outdoor activities for patients.
