Starting today, the citizens of Prato, who implement virtuous behaviors that contribute to environmental sustainability, can achieve "points" to spend in many economic realities of the territory, thanks to the project Prato Urban Jungle and the platform greenApes. 

Walking and cycling, purchasing products at km 0, voluntary activities, circular economy actions: starting today, the citizens of Prato who implement virtuous behaviors, which contribute to environmental sustainability, can achieve "points" to spend in many economic realities of the territory, thanks to the project Prato Urban Jungle and the greenApes platform. 

To participate, simply download the app "greenApes" on your phone and select Prato as your province of residence. Through the app you can demonstrate your own virtuous behaviors and acquire the "BankoNut" points, the virtual currency of the platform. Additional points are allocated for participation in the "Challenges" (small thematic missions related to the territory and designed with project partners, such as Legambiente) and for sharing ideas and good practices within a social section.

The "BankoNut" points can then be spent in the "Rewards” section of the app, where many local realities provide benefits, gifts and experiences from today, thus contributing to a more sustainable future for the city. More than 20 companies have already joined (also thanks to the collaboration with the associations of the category of the territory: CNA Toscana Centro, Confartigianato, Confdisegni and Confesercenti) and will allow to acquire and spend points in the city. They include: Agraria Pratese, Anticofeudo Alpacas, Atypical, Brewery the Two Masters, City of the Sun, CNA Tuscany Center, CONAD (with products Km0), OBI, Ecosmart srl, Frankie Recycle, Genuino.Zero, Heart & Mind, La Bottega degli Artigiani, Lo Fo Io, Maglificio Angorelle, Market Land of Lawn, Molino Bardazzi, NatureYes, Papini Cashmere, Rifò Lab.

Within the greenApes platform there is also a section for teachers from the schools participating in the "Generazione Green" initiative promoted by Legambiente for the firms of the territory. Teachers will be able to share experiences and activities in the classroom with the children, following (via Dedicated Challenges on the app) the activities proposed in the Toolkit (8.76 MB) prepared by Legambiente and delivered in recent weeks to many schools in the city.
