"Flying vegetable gardens" (2 shifts)

You don't need a field to create a vegetable garden! Sometimes the windowsill is enough to experiment with the cultivation of small fruits, flowers and aromatic herbs. During the workshop, plastic bottles will be reused to transform them into comfortable "flying flower beds" that participants can take home and hang from a window, balcony or terrace.

Target: children aged 11 to 14 years
Maximum number of participants: 10-15 people per group. In the case of a single group max 25 children.

Workshops for citizens "The wolf vegetable garden  for Forest Food"

Small conference on food and the potential of vegetarian cuisine.
Urban vegetable gardens and wild herbs can constitute a considerable reservoir for a creative cuisine rooted in the earth and attentive to sustainability, even in urban settings. During the conversation it will be possible to taste the foods described, whose recipes, among which the one dedicated to the Prato Urban Jungle project stands out, will be distributed to the audience. The workshop is conducted by Patrizia Gozzini and Cristina Cozzi.

Educational workshops with activities related to the Jungle Tales project of ESTRA and inspired by the works of the digital exhibition, in-depth videos and video tutorials on the issues of biodiversity and conscious use of the soil.
The workshops are organized in partnership with Straligut Theatre.

An actress - narrator tells the marvels encountered in her long journey between past, present and future.
While She is pedaling, She will produce the necessary electricity to activate other functional mechanisms linked to the show,  making the event  zero impact thanks also to the photovoltaic panels present on the scene.

05.00pm-05.45pm Workshop "Create your own Jungle Jam"

We will create glass terrariums to transform the living room or bedroom into an "urban jungle". We're going to create a tropical terrarium with plants that live in a humid environment, we will propose fittonias, pilea, ferns and whatever we can get hold of. During the workshop we will suggest to guests to reproduce a biotope that feeds itself with the water cycle.

Target: guys aged 16 to 25 years

Animated reading of an illustrated book with text in symbols (CAA - alternative augmentative communication), on the theme of green.
Following the creative workshop - "When nature becomes art" we create a design together with the use of natural materials, such as grass, leaves, flowers and much more.
Imagination, creativity and fantasy will give life to real works of art
